The songs in 11.22 were recorded with some of Catalonia’s finest young musicians in a very cool studio called Estudis Ground outside of Girona. We took these three songs to the indie edge of folk rock, definitely a bit out of my comfort zone. “Ball and Chain” was kicking around for a few years. “Water Under the Bridge” and “Ache of Beauty” practically wrote themselves. I was back with the group that recorded four songs for the Gratitude album. I thank them deeply for their outstanding performances.
